Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026

1. Service Overview

WorkShield.ai ("the Service") is an AI-powered document generation tool operated by Aether Practice Solutions Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). The Service generates informational workplace accommodation request letters based on user-provided input, utilizing artificial intelligence to translate condition information into clinical language with references to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

2. Not a Law Firm — No Legal Advice

WorkShield.ai is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The Service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and WorkShield.ai, Aether Practice Solutions Inc., or any of its affiliates, employees, or contractors.

The generated accommodation letter is an informational document designed to assist you in preparing your own accommodation request. It is not a substitute for the advice of a qualified employment attorney. We strongly encourage you to consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for legal guidance specific to your situation.

3. Not Medical Advice

While the Service is informed by clinical knowledge, it does not provide medical advice and does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. The clinical language used in generated letters is for informational purposes to help frame workplace accommodation requests. It is not a diagnosis, treatment recommendation, or medical certification.

4. No Guarantee of Outcomes

WorkShield.ai does not guarantee any outcomewith your employer, HR department, government agencies, or any other party. The effectiveness of your accommodation request depends on many factors outside our control, including but not limited to your employer's policies, the specific facts of your situation, applicable state and federal law, and the interactive process between you and your employer.

5. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing the generated letter before submitting it to your employer.
  • You assume full responsibility for how you use the generated letter and any consequences of its use.
  • The information you provide during the triage questionnaire is truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You will not use the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purpose.
  • You understand that the generated letter is a template to assist your own accommodation request — it is not a legal filing, physician letter, or certified document.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

The Service costs $9.99 per generated letter. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Because the letter is a digital product delivered instantly upon payment, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once the letter has been generated and delivered.

If you experience a technical error that prevents letter delivery after successful payment, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a replacement.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon payment, you receive a non-exclusive license to use the generated letter for your personal accommodation request. The underlying technology, system prompts, and Service design remain the property of Aether Practice Solutions Inc.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aether Practice Solutions Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of employment, denial of accommodations, or any other damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific letter at issue.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
